Allison Ching
for
Purchasing & Warehousing Director
Castro Valley, CA – (April 12, 2023) – At the April 12th board meeting, the Castro Valley Unified School District Board of Education took action to select Allison Ching for the position of Purchasing & Warehousing Director.
Currently, Ms. Ching works as a department specialist in the Facilities and Construction Department at CVUSD. Her work includes review and processing of department proposals and invoices, client communication, Architect and Engineering Requests for Proposals, and State and Federal documents and reimbursements. Ms. Ching received training from the California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO), School Services of California (SSC), and holds an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Development.
Ms. Allison Ching has a wide array of professional experiences that will provide a strong foundation in the Purchasing and Warehousing Department. Her professional career started with one of the Bay Area’s prominent radio stations as a sales assistant and receptionist. This led to her work with one of the reputable educational law firms. Ms. Ching also ventured onto her entrepreneurial path as an after-school provider for ten years and manager.
